Rumble and Tether Join Forces: Empowering Creators with Bitcoin Tips for Monetization.

Rumble, the video-sharing platform, is partnering with Tether to introduce Bitcoin tipping for content creators. The announcement was made at the Plan B Forum in Lugano, Switzerland, by Rumble CEO Chris Pavloski. The new feature is currently in the testing phase and is expected to be fully rolled out by early to mid-December.

The integration will enable Rumble's 51 million monthly active users to tip creators directly in Bitcoin. According to Pavloski, the company will begin rolling out the feature in the coming weeks. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino expects that the full rollout will occur by early to mid-December, once minor bugs are fixed and the user experience is refined.

Rumble posted a video on X showcasing its first tip sent to Rumble content creator and former Canadian political candidate, David Freiheit.

Ardoino highlighted the potential of Bitcoin and stablecoins to empower creators, offering them financial freedom and security. He stated that this move aligns with Tether's mission to bring cryptocurrencies to emerging markets and the U.S. market. Furthermore, Ardoino noted that Rumble could become a natural environment for Bitcoin payments to thrive, given that video content creation is mostly published online.

Rumble is also working with crypto payments firm MoonPay to create its own crypto wallet. The Rumble Wallet will facilitate Bitcoin and USDT transactions directly on the platform, supporting payments for subscriptions, tips, and other creator earnings. This wallet is set to launch alongside the tipping feature and will enable creators to store and manage digital assets directly within the platform.

In December of last year, Tether made a $775 million investment in Rumble. Rumble has also adopted a Bitcoin treasury strategy and revealed plans to invest up to $25 million in cash reserves in Bitcoin. As of Q2 2025, the company holds $25 million in Bitcoin reserves.

Rumble's corporate adoption of Bitcoin mirrors trends seen at firms like MicroStrategy and Tesla, which use cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation.

The integration of Bitcoin tipping could play a crucial role in pushing Bitcoin payments adoption. By enabling seamless Bitcoin transactions, Tether aims to solidify its dominance in the creator economy, where platforms increasingly rely on blockchain for transparent, low-cost payments.

Rumble's shares closed up 0.56% at $7.14.
