Lucknow, October 25, 2025 – The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (UPDGME), Uttar Pradesh, has once again revised the counselling schedule for Round 3 of the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025. This counselling is for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges across the state under the state quota. The revised schedule is available on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

The decision to revise the schedule was made due to changes in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) All India Quota (AIQ) counselling dates. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for the latest updates.

Key Dates and Details

Here’s a breakdown of the important dates for Round 3 of the UP NEET UG Counselling 2025:

• Online Choice Filling: The choice-filling process, which allows candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses, is now extended until October 27, 2025, 11:00 AM.
• Seat Allotment Result: The result for Round 3 seat allotment is scheduled to be declared on October 29, 2025. Earlier, it was scheduled for October 27, 2025.
• Downloading of Allotment Letters & Admission: Candidates who are allotted seats in Round 3 can download their allotment letters and complete the admission process between October 30 and November 1, 2025.

Eligibility for Choice Filling

It is important to note that only candidates who have completed the online registration process, have had their original documents verified online, and have deposited the required security amount are eligible for choice filling.

Seat Matrix

As per the revised seat matrix, a total of 962 seats are available in Uttar Pradesh's medical colleges for the third round of counselling. These seats are distributed among different categories: 821 under the unreserved (UR) category, 39 under backward class (BC), 78 under SC, and 12 each under the ST and EWS categories.

Qualified Candidates

Approximately 34,556 candidates have qualified for counselling according to the UP NEET Round 3 revised merit list 2025.

How to Check Allotment Status

Once the allotment result is declared, candidates can check their status by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website: upneet.gov.in.
2. Scroll down to the UG counselling online services section on the homepage.
3. Click on the "Results" tab.
4. Enter the required login credentials.
5. Click the "Submit" button.
6. The UP NEET Round 3 Counselling Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

Counseling Process

The UP NEET 2025 counselling is being conducted for the allocation of 85% of the state's seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET 2025 counselling for the remaining 15% All India Quota seats. The UP NEET UG counselling 2025 includes registration, fee payment, and choice filling. Seats are allotted based on choices filled, NEET score, and reservation factors. There will be four rounds of counselling.
