Bengaluru, November 12, 2025 – India A has concluded an intensive preparatory camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru, gearing up for the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025. The tournament is set to be held in Doha, Qatar, at the West End International Cricket Stadium, from November 14-23, 2025.

The camp incorporated focused practice, scenario-based drills, and simulations to enhance the team's readiness for the competition. The team will be captained by Jitesh Sharma, with Naman Dhir serving as his deputy. The squad selected by the BCCI's senior men’s selection committee aims to provide a platform for emerging talent.

The India A squad includes Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Nehal Wadhera, Naman Dhir (VC), Suryansh Shedge, Jitesh Sharma (C) (WK), Ramandeep Singh, Harsh Dubey, Ashutosh Sharma, Yash Thakur, Gurjapneet Singh, Vijay Kumar Vyshak, Yudhvir Singh Charak, Abhisek Porel (WK), and Suyash Sharma. The stand-by players are Gurnoor Singh Brar, Kumar Kushagra, Tanush Kotian, Sameer Rizvi, and Shaik Rasheed.

The Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 will be played in the T20 format. India A finds itself in Group B, where they will compete against Oman, UAE, and Pakistan A. India A will begin their campaign on November 14 against the UAE, followed by matches against Pakistan A and Oman. The final is scheduled for Sunday, November 23.

The selection of the squad includes a blend of seasoned domestic performers and promising young talents. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a 14-year-old sensation, has earned his maiden call-up to the India A side after impressive performances in domestic and age-group cricket. Priyansh Arya, a breakout star from IPL 2025, has also been included in the squad. The team's composition reflects a strategic approach towards nurturing young players while providing them exposure on an international platform.
