The newly released song "Naine Ra Lobhi" from the upcoming war film 120 Bahadur is capturing hearts with its soulful melody and tender portrayal of love amidst the backdrop of war. Featuring Farhan Akhtar and Raashii Khanna, the song explores the evolving romance between a newly married couple, offering an emotional interlude within the echoes of duty and sacrifice.
120 Bahadur commemorates the bravery and spirit of Indian soldiers during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, specifically the Battle of Rezang La. The film depicts the story of 120 soldiers from the Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who defended their post against 3,000 Chinese troops. Farhan Akhtar plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honor, for his valor. Raashii Khanna portrays Sugan Shaitaan Singh, the Major's wife, embodying the strength and softness of a soldier's partner.
"Naine Ra Lobhi" provides a glimpse into the human side of a warrior's life. The chemistry between Akhtar and Khanna is described as organic and heartfelt, enhanced by the vocals of Javed Ali and Asees Kaur. Set during Holi, the song is a vibrant visual celebration of Indian culture, tradition, and emotion. The song’s release follows the launch of other tracks from the film, including "Dada Kishan Ki Jai," "Yaad Aate Hain", and "Main Hoon Woh Dharti Maa".
The music for 120 Bahadur is composed by Amit Trivedi, Salim–Sulaiman, and Amjad Nadeem Aamir, with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. "Naine Ra Lobhi" itself is composed by Amjad Nadeem Aamir, with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
