Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, who fell in love on Bigg Boss 15 in 2021, have remained a strong couple since then. Recent revelations from Tejasswi indicate that the couple might be planning to tie the knot in 2026.
According to Tejasswi, Karan was eager to get married in 2022, shortly after they left the Bigg Boss house. However, her mother advised them to wait and spend time together in the real world before making any decisions about marriage. Tejasswi's mother felt they needed time to get to know each other outside of the Bigg Boss environment.
In a conversation on Bharti TV's YouTube channel, Tejasswi shared her perspective on how her relationship with Karan began. Initially, she thought Karan simply had a crush on her. She explained that she is the type of person who prefers direct communication, saying, "He would tell a lot of people that he likes me. I am the kind of person who believes that if you like me, then you tell me directly,". She added, "Initially, I didn't know that he seriously likes me. I thought he had a crush or something. So I said, 'If he says it in front of everyone, then I will think about it.' And then on Weekend ka Vaar, he said it in front of everyone, that he likes me, or something like that".
Tejasswi recalled that Karan eventually confessed his serious feelings for her, and she began to notice his actions, which reflected the same. She appreciated his clarity and courage in expressing his feelings without knowing how she felt in return. "I liked that he was very clear in his head that he likes me and he said it without even knowing how I feel about him. That's a huge risk, when you don't know how the other person is going to respond. When you say I like you but don't know if the other person feels the same," she said. She further added, "I liked that he showed courage and expressed himself, and he was making it exclusive".
Tejasswi described herself as someone who tends to commit quickly when in love. Because of this tendency, her mother encouraged her to take her time and carefully consider things. Tejasswi stated, “You both just got out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend one year with each other in the real world. It's not that I doubt you, Karan, but I don't even fully know my daughter. I feel both of you need some time".
While reports circulated that Tejasswi's mother confirmed the couple would be marrying this year on "Celebrity Master Chef," Karan responded to these rumors with a touch of humor. When asked about the marriage reports, Karan said, "Nahi nahi nahi, Woh AI tha AI (Artificial intelligence). Woh toh sab aajkal AI itna khatarnak hogaya hai na main bata nahi sakta aapko baap re,". When it was pointed out that Tejasswi's mother had supposedly confirmed the news, Karan jokingly replied, "Main bata raha hoon aapko, woh AI tha,". He clarified, "Nahi, maine ye bola hi nahi hai, maine toh bola ke AI tha, wo bichari aunty ka AI bana ke daala hai logo ne. (Laughs)".
Before his relationship with Tejasswi, Karan was in a relationship with Anusha Dandekar for three and a half years. They hosted MTV Love School together from 2016 to 2019, assisting couples with their relationship issues. The two broke up in 2020.
