Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max at an event in China on October 23, 2025. While both phones boast impressive features, details suggest that they might remain exclusive to the Chinese market, continuing a trend seen with previous K-series releases.
Redmi K90 Pro Max: Specifications and Features
The Redmi K90 Pro Max is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with the D2 display chip for enhanced graphics and AI capabilities. It features a large 7,560mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

The high-end model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage costs CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 65,000). The Redmi K90 Pro Max Champion Edition is priced at CNY 5,499 (approximately Rs 67,750) for the 16GB + 1TB configuration. The Redmi K90 price starts at CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
Will it Launch in India?
As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the India launch of the Redmi K90 series. Historically, Xiaomi has not released its K-series flagships in India since the Redmi K20. However, there is a possibility that the Redmi K90 might be rebranded and launched in the global market as the Poco F8 Pro.
