Amit Shah Warns Bihar: RJD Victory Means Crime Portfolios - Murder, Kidnapping, and Extortion Will Flourish.

Muzaffarpur, Bihar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family on Sunday, warning that Bihar would witness a resurgence of "jungle raj" if Tejashwi Yadav were to become Chief Minister. Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarpur, Shah claimed that if the RJD-led alliance were voted to power, "three new ministries will be created to oversee kidnapping, extortion, and murder".

Shah urged the people of Bihar to vote for the NDA to prevent the return of the "jungle raj" that he said was witnessed during the RJD regime. He contrasted the opposition with the NDA, asserting that if the alliance retained power, Bihar would be made flood-free. The NDA government, he said, would also establish a dedicated ministry to tackle floods in the state. "If voted to power, the NDA government will make Bihar flood-free... It will set up a separate ministry to control floods," Shah affirmed.

Accusing Lalu Prasad and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi of prioritizing dynastic succession, Shah alleged that both were attempting to promote their sons to top political positions. He said that while Sonia Gandhi wants her son Rahul to become the Prime Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav wants his son Tejashwi to become the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Shah credited Prime Minister Modi's leadership for the country's development and stability. He stated that "PM Modi made India secure, safe, and prosperous and launched various welfare schemes". He also promised a separate flood-control ministry, infrastructure and welfare projects including a mega food park, irrigation works and a special train.
