Amit Shah vows to eradicate Maoists and expel infiltrators to ensure a safer, more secure Bihar.

Patna – Union Minister Amit Shah has declared a firm commitment to eliminate Maoist influence and drive out infiltrators from Bihar, addressing voters at rallies ahead of the upcoming elections. Shah's statements underscore the central government's focus on strengthening national security and fostering development in the region.

Shah asserted that the opposition parties have been protecting infiltrators in Bihar's Seemanchal region. Addressing a rally in Banmankhi, Purnea, he urged voters to support efforts aimed at detecting and expelling those he described as illegal entrants. He stated that these infiltrators take jobs from the youth and resources meant for the poor, thereby making the country insecure. Shah vowed to remove every single infiltrator from Bihar and demolish the encroachments they have made, freeing the land of Seemanchal from them. He also claimed Rahul Gandhi and Lalu's son had previously embarked on a "Save the Infiltrators" march in Bihar.

Shah accused the RJD-Congress alliance of neglecting the poor and instead focusing on "patronizing infiltrators" during their governance. He alleged that leaders like Lalu Prasad and Sonia Gandhi were primarily concerned with the welfare of their own families, to the detriment of Bihar's development. Shah also criticized the opposition leaders for lacking a development agenda for Bihar.

In addition to addressing infiltration, Shah vowed to uproot the remaining Maoist influence in Bihar. He claimed that during Lalu Prasad's regime, Maoists reigned supreme in regions such as Gaya, Aurangabad and Jamui, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi eliminated Naxalism from Bihar.

Shah urged voters to give the NDA another five-year mandate, promising to make Bihar flood-free and one of India's most developed states. He also announced projects including an EV cluster, defence corridor, and new highways and colleges. He positioned the Bihar election as a contest between two camps, criticizing RJD candidate selections and invoking the name of the late Bahubali leader Mohammad Shahabuddin. Shah asserted that there is no place left for any Osama or Shahabuddin in Bihar.
