Hyderabad: Hindu Migrant Girls Drugged and Exploited, Alleges Bandi Sanjay, Sparking Concerns and Demanding Action.

Hyderabad – Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, has alleged that young Hindu girls from migrant families in Hyderabad are being drugged and exploited in the Old City. Speaking at a press conference at the BJP state office on Sunday, Sanjay claimed that these incidents are occurring in areas controlled by the AIMIM, with the Congress government turning a blind eye.

Sanjay stated that the girls, mostly minors from West Bengal, are lured into drug addiction and sexual abuse, leaving them feeling unsafe and unprotected. He drew parallels to "The Kerala Files" and "The Kashmir Files," referring to these incidents as "The Hyderabad Files". He claimed to be in contact with the families of the victims, alleging that the perpetrators are men from another community.

According to Sanjay, the girls are initially enticed with drug-laced chocolates at birthday parties before being kidnapped and assaulted. He cited an instance where a girl was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted for six days after being offered drugged chocolates at a Muslim girl's house. The minister further claimed that when the girl's parents approached the police, their complaints were dismissed without investigation and the girl was later blackmailed with videos of the assault. She was also forced to bring other friends into the situation, and she named nine other girls who were also trapped.

Sanjay alleged that hundreds of similar incidents are happening in the city, but are not being reported because the local police are afraid and operating under pressure from AIMIM. In another case, he claimed a minor girl was abducted by a gang of drug addicts and when she returned home and her family filed a complaint, the case was closed without proper investigation. He displayed CCTV footage purportedly showing two men attempting to abduct a girl, stating that despite having this evidence, no action has been taken. "The girl is now battling addiction, exhibiting erratic behaviour".

Sanjay criticized the Congress government for allegedly failing to address the complaints and allowing AIMIM to shield the accused. He warned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to take immediate action, threatening to establish Hindu protection squads in the Old City to ensure the safety of Hindus if the government fails to act. He also threatened to personally intervene and deploy central forces if necessary.

Sanjay has also accused the Congress party of appeasing minority voters to win the Jubilee Hills bypoll, warning that the majority population would face hardships if the Congress candidate wins. He reiterated his demand for a probe into the death of Maganti Gopinath, accusing K.T. Rama Rao and Revanth Reddy of conspiring to take over the late MLA's assets.
