Iulia Vântur is making her acting debut in Joe Rajan's short film, 'Echoes of Us'. The film has already garnered recognition at several international film festivals.

'Echoes of Us' is directed by Joe Rajan and produced by Pooja Batra in collaboration with Alliance Media Pty Ltd. The film features a cross-cultural cast, including Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz. The film explores themes of emotional connection, memory, and personal transformation. She also mentioned her previous experience in theatre and musicals in Romania, but considers 'Echoes of Us' to be her official acting debut. She expressed her happiness in playing a role that resonates with her and the values she believes in.

Deepak Tijori praised Iulia Vântur's work ethic and called her one of the finest debut actors he has had the pleasure of working with. He lauded her talent and deep understanding of her craft, which shines through in every performance.

'Echoes of Us' has already received an honourable mention at the 14th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival and has been an official selection for the Global Indie Filmmaker Awards, Independent Shorts Awards, and the Love & Hope International Film Festival. The film has earned nominations in categories such as Best Actor/Actress, Best Film, Best Director, and Best Cinematography.

Another short film with the same title, 'Echoes of Us', follows Leon, a teen who falls for Aria. After she disappears, Leon is left haunted by an emotional “Echo” as he relives their bond and uncovers the invisible threads that connected them all along. The film explores memory and healing through the lens of a photographer navigating grief, ambition, and connection. Another film with the same title tells the story of a queer woman caught between her past and present. As she rekindles a connection with a former love, she finds herself deeply in love with her current partner. This introspective narrative explores themes of longing, closure, and the intricate complexities of the human heart.
