Arvind Kejriwal, the former Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP National Convenor, has been actively engaged in checking on the well-being of prominent figures in recent days. He recently met with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to inquire about their health and that of Shibu Soren, respectively.

On July 20, 2025, Kejriwal, accompanied by Sanjay Singh, the AAP Floor Leader in the Rajya Sabha, visited Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Vice-President's Enclave. The meeting was to enquire about the Vice President's health. Following the meeting, Kejriwal posted on X, "Called on Hon'ble Vice President of India to enquire about his health. I pray to God for his long and healthy life". The Vice President also acknowledged the meeting on social media.

Prior to this, on July 15, 2025, Kejriwal visited Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. The purpose of this visit was to check on the health of Hemant Soren's father, Shibu Soren, who has been undergoing treatment at the hospital. Shibu Soren, a former Jharkhand Chief Minister and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's (JMM) 'founder patron', has been under hospital care for several weeks.

Kejriwal expressed his concern and wished Shibu Soren a speedy recovery in a post on X, stating, "Today, I visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi and met with Jharkhand CM and friend Hemant Soren to enquire about the well-being of his father and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren. I pray to God that he recovers quickly and returns home soon".

Shibu Soren, 81, has been receiving treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for several weeks, with his condition described as stable. He was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago, and a source indicated it was not a routine check-up. JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya had stated that Soren was hospitalized due to complications that arose during a medical evaluation and has a kidney infection and bronchitis. A team of doctors is overseeing his treatment. In late June, Shibu Soren regained consciousness after three days. Prayers for his recovery have been held across Jharkhand.

Several political leaders have visited Shibu Soren in the hospital, including President Droupadi Murmu, Governor Santosh Gangwar, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. President Murmu met with Shibu Soren and his son, Hemant Soren, and enquired about Shibu Soren's health. Governor Gangwar also met with the Soren family to inquire about the former CM's health. Rahul Gandhi also met with Hemant Soren to discuss Shibu Soren's health.
