The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Realme India online store.

The Realme GT 8 Pro has been generating buzz for weeks, with teasers highlighting key specifications and features. One of the most talked-about aspects is Realme's collaboration with renowned camera maker Ricoh, bringing their GR imaging technology to a smartphone for the first time. This partnership, which has been four years in the making, aims to deliver exceptional optical quality and a unique street photography experience.

The Realme GT 8 Pro boasts a powerful camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel anti-glare main sensor co-engineered with Ricoh GR, featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 7P lens. Complementing the main sensor is a 200-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 12x hybrid zoom, as well as a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 116° field of view. For selfies, the device features a 32-megapixel front camera. The camera setup also supports 4K video recording at 120fps with Dolby Vision. The Ricoh GR Mode offers five film tones: Positive, Negative, High-contrast Black & White, Standard, and Monochrome. It will also feature 28mm classic focal lengths.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring flagship-level performance. The device is also equipped with a HyperVision AI chip, which enhances visual quality and efficiency. To keep thermals in check, the phone features a massive 7,000 sq mm Vapor Chamber cooling system. It is expected to come with configurations up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to sport a 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 7000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The display is also expected to have a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. A large 7000mAh battery is also expected, ensuring all-day battery life.

Realme has teased that the GT 8 Pro will be available in Diary White and Urban Blue colorways in India. While the exact pricing is yet to be revealed, the Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to be priced between ₹59,990 to ₹64,999 in India. With its impressive specifications and features, the Realme GT 8 Pro is poised to be a strong contender in the flagship smartphone market.
