BTS member Jin has achieved a significant milestone in his solo career with his latest mini-album, "Echo," debuting at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. This marks Jin's highest ranking as a soloist, surpassing his previous record when his first solo album, "Happy," reached number 4 on the same chart in November of last year. Billboard officially announced the achievement on May 25th, solidifying Jin's position as a force to be reckoned with in the global music scene.

"Echo" has resonated strongly with fans and critics alike, selling 43,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music). The album's success is attributed to 35,000 traditional album sales, making it the second best-selling album in the United States for the week ending May 22. Additionally, it garnered 6,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, translating to 8.92 million on-demand audio streams, and 2,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units.

The mini-album "Echo" is an introspective work, exploring the reverberations of life's moments through Jin's unique perspective. It features seven tracks that span a variety of genres, including pop punk, country rock, Brit rock, J-rock, alternative rock, and ballad pop, all grounded in a band-driven sound. Jin's ability to blend these genres seamlessly has been praised, showcasing his versatility and musical talent.

Adding to his list of accomplishments, Jin's title track, "Don't Say You Love Me," has also made waves, securing the number 2 spot on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart. The single's success extends to the UK, where it debuted at number 58 on the Official Singles Chart Top 100 and topped the Singles Downloads, Singles Sales, and Physical Singles sub-charts. Furthermore, it is expected to debut at No. 82 on the Billboard Hot 100, while securing the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with 15,000 digital downloads and a total of 29,000 in overall sales.

"Echo" has also marked Jin's first entry into the UK's Official Albums Chart Top 100, landing at number 63 for the week of May 23-29. This achievement highlights Jin's growing international appeal and solidifies his presence in two of the world's most influential music markets.

To connect with his fans, Jin is preparing for his first solo fan concert tour, "#RunSeokjin_EP.Tour," which kicks off on June 28-29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Gyeonggi Province. The tour will then extend to nine cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the US; and London and Amsterdam, totaling 18 shows.

Jin's success with "Echo" adds to BTS's impressive legacy on the Billboard 200, where the group has previously claimed the top spot with six albums: "Love Yourself: Tear," "Love Yourself: Answer," "Map of the Soul: Persona," "Map of the Soul: 7," "BE," and "Proof."
