"Ghaati" was released in theaters on September 5, 2025, after facing multiple delays. The film is a crime drama set against the backdrop of the Eastern Ghats on the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border. It explores the lives of the "Ghaati" tribe, a marginalized community forced into cannabis cultivation and trade by the Naidu brothers. Anushka Shetty plays Sheelavathi, a local leader who realizes the destructive impact of the trade and confronts the exploitative middlemen and power-wielders. Together with Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu), Sheelavathi dreams of freeing her people from the cycle of crime. However, their attempt to start their own business leads to a confrontation with the cannabis syndicate, resulting in a personal loss for Sheelavathi, who then seeks revenge and rises to become a legend in her community.
"Ghaati" features Vikram Prabhu as the co-lead, marking his Telugu cinema debut. The cast also includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Rudra Mulpuru, Jisshu Sengupta, John Vijay, and Ravindra Vijay.
