Anushka Shetty's Telugu action-drama "Ghaati," directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 26, 2025. The film's digital rights were reportedly sold for a record-breaking price, marking a significant deal in Anushka Shetty's career.

"Ghaati" was released in theaters on September 5, 2025, after facing multiple delays. While it received mixed reviews, with praise for the performances but criticism for the execution, it has generated considerable buzz and anticipation for its streaming debut. Despite a decent opening, the film's theatrical run resulted in approximately ₹7.06 crore nett in India.

The film is a crime drama set against the backdrop of the Eastern Ghats on the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border. It explores the lives of the "Ghaati" tribe, a marginalized community forced into cannabis cultivation and trade by the Naidu brothers. Anushka Shetty plays Sheelavathi, a local leader who realizes the destructive impact of the trade and confronts the exploitative middlemen and power-wielders. Together with Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu), Sheelavathi dreams of freeing her people from the cycle of crime. However, their attempt to start their own business leads to a confrontation with the cannabis syndicate, resulting in a personal loss for Sheelavathi, who then seeks revenge and rises to become a legend in her community.

"Ghaati" features Vikram Prabhu as the co-lead, marking his Telugu cinema debut. The cast also includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Rudra Mulpuru, Jisshu Sengupta, John Vijay, and Ravindra Vijay. The film is produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi. The music is composed by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar, with cinematography by Manojh Reddy Katasani.

Prime members in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide can stream "Ghaati" in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, starting September 26, 2025. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 37 minutes and has been given a U/A rating. "Ghaati" was interestingly shot on a custom-built studio using On-Set Virtual Production (OSVP) technology.
