Malaika Arora's Son, Arhaan Khan, Critiques Her Dance Moves: A Mother-Son Dynamic Revealed

Malaika Arora recently shared insights into her relationship with her son, Arhaan Khan, particularly focusing on his candid critiques of her dance performances. The Bollywood actress and dancer revealed that Arhaan doesn't hold back when it comes to reviewing her dance moves, often providing playful yet direct feedback.

Arora, known for her iconic dance numbers such as "Chaiyya Chaiyya," "Munni Badnaam Hui," and "Anarkali Disco Chali," recently starred in the song "Poison Baby" from the upcoming movie Thamma. The film, directed by Aditya Bhattacharya, features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Arora said that returning to a full-fledged dance number felt "electric" and that she wanted the performance to feel "dangerous, beautiful, and untamed".

During the music launch of Thamma's album, Arora couldn't help but gush about Arhaan's own dancing skills, stating, "He's fab when he dances. He's superb. Thank God, he's got my dancing genes in him. He dances very well". She also shared that Arhaan's favorite song of hers is "Munni Badnaam Hui" from the film Dabangg. According to Arora, Arhaan often learns dance steps and then invites her to dance with him.

However, the fun doesn't stop there. Arora laughingly admitted that Arhaan doesn't shy away from critiquing her performances. She recounted instances where he would tease her, saying, "Please, you can’t dance like that". Despite the playful criticism, it's clear that their banter strengthens their bond.

In fact, Arora has mentioned in the past that both Arhaan and her former husband, Arbaaz Khan, are her biggest critics. She noted that they watch her performances and are always ready to give their honest opinions.

Arora's latest dance number, "Poison Baby," marks her return to leading a full-fledged dance number on the big screen after years. Many fans have noted that she outshines her co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, in the song. Arora said that the choreography blends moves and expressions, aiming for a performance that feels dangerous yet beautiful. The film Thamma is set to release on October 21st, coinciding with Diwali.
