KTR Alleges Congress's "Vote Theft" in Telangana: A Deep Dive Presentation Exposing Electoral Irregularities

Hyderabad, Telangana – Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has launched a strong accusation against the Congress party, alleging large-scale voter fraud in the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency. Speaking to the media on Monday, KTR claimed that the Congress party is misusing power and government resources to sway the upcoming by-election.

KTR presented a detailed representation to the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana, highlighting a multitude of irregularities, including duplicate entries and a significant number of fake votes. He asserted that ministers and officials have been deployed in Jubilee Hills with the express purpose of manipulating the electoral process for the Congress party's benefit.

According to KTR, field analysis conducted by BRS party workers uncovered widespread instances of fraudulent voter registrations. He claimed that approximately 23,000 new votes were added to the voter list, while 12,000 existing votes were deleted. Moreover, he alleged the illegal distribution of voter IDs, even to minors.

KTR cited specific examples to support his claims. In one instance, a visit to Sanskriti Avenue Apartments revealed that 43 votes were officially registered at the location, but the owner denied any knowledge or connection to the individuals listed. In another case, a small 80-square-yard house in Booth Number 125 was found to have 23 registered voters. He further alleged that a local Congress party leader's house contained 32 "bogus votes". Evidence was also presented indicating that some individuals possess multiple Elector's Photo Identity Card (EPIC) numbers and are registered to vote in multiple constituencies.

KTR stated that at least 20,000 duplicate and fake votes have been identified in Jubilee Hills. He further claimed that some polling booths recorded nearly 50 fake votes per booth, and in extreme cases, over 100 votes were registered at a single, small house. He also alleged that around 15,000 votes lacked valid addresses.

KTR likened the situation to "Rahul Gandhi's national-level electoral theft reflected locally in Jubilee Hills". He accused lower-level officials of colluding with the ruling party to manipulate the voter list. He warned that even after the deletion of approximately 12,000 invalid votes, an additional 7,000 fake votes were added, resulting in nearly 19,000 manipulated votes.

The BRS is demanding a full-scale investigation by the Election Commission, strict action against colluding officials, and the transfer of compromised field officers to ensure free and fair elections. KTR vowed to take the issue to the public, asserting that the party will expose Congress's attempts at electoral manipulation. He also stated that the Election Commission has been informed but has not responded within 24 hours, calling its credibility into question.

KTR challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to address the alleged "vote theft" in Telangana. He pointed out that the brother of a Congress party candidate, Naveen Kumar Yadav, allegedly holds three fraudulent votes. KTR questioned how elections could be considered fair under such circumstances and demanded an immediate response from the Congress party regarding these alleged election frauds. He also threatened to approach the High Court if their demands are not met.

In related news from September, KTR accused Rahul Gandhi of hypocrisy, stating that "MLA theft is a bigger crime than vote theft" after Congress allegedly poached 10 BRS MLAs in Telangana. He criticized the Congress government for not fulfilling promises made to students, alleging that over 13 lakh students are suffering due to unpaid scholarships and fee reimbursements.
