The Bihar Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with the vote counting set to occur on November 14. AAP is contesting in all 243 seats in the state.
In its second list, AAP has strategically fielded candidates in various constituencies, including Brij Kishore Gupta from Gopalganj, ND Hasan from Muzaffarpur, and Aditya Lal from Purnia.
Earlier, AAP had released its first list of 11 candidates. The initial list included Meera Singh in Begusarai, Bhanu Bhartiya in the Kasba seat of Purnia district, Arun Kumar Rajak in Phulwari (Patna), Pankaj Kumar in Bankipur (Patna), Ashok Kumar Singh in Govindganj (Motihari), and Retd Capt Dharmraj Singh in the Buxar seat.
AAP's state in-charge, Ajesh Yadav, addressed a press conference where he expressed the party's confidence in replicating its Delhi and Punjab governance models in Bihar. He emphasized the widespread discussion and recognition of AAP's developmental work and governance. Yadav noted the significant contribution of people from the Purvanchal region to AAP's victory in Delhi, stating that if they could help form the government in Delhi, they could also do so in Bihar.
Abhinav Rai, the state co-in-charge of AAP, has dismissed any possibility of alliances with existing political groups, affirming that their alliance is with the people of Bihar. He stated that the party would not align with any other party or coalition.
Yadav also highlighted AAP's achievements in education, healthcare, and public welfare in Delhi and Punjab. When questioned about political strategist Prashant Kishor, Yadav responded that while Kishor has only begun discussing reforms, AAP has already implemented them at the grassroots level. The list of AAP's star campaigners, including Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, and Bhagwant Mann, will be announced soon.
