Vivo X300 Series Unveiled: Key Features and India Launch Expectations You Need to Know Now.

Vivo has officially unveiled its next-generation flagship smartphones, the X300 and X300 Pro, in China, with a global release, including India, expected soon. Here are five key things you should know about the Vivo X300 series ahead of its anticipated launch in India, which is rumored to be between December 5 and 15, 2025.

  1. Flagship Performance: Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset. This 3nm chipset promises flagship-level speed and power efficiency. The phones also feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

  2. Display and Design: Vivo is ditching the quad-curved display in favor of a flat display for a boxier look. The Vivo X300 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat BOE Q10+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. The standard X300 features a slightly smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED screen, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. The X300 Pro is marginally thicker at 7.99mm compared to the X300's 7.95mm. The X300 weighs 190 grams, while the X300 Pro weighs 226 grams.

  3. Camera Capabilities: The Vivo X300 series continues Vivo's tradition of camera-centric smartphones with Zeiss-branded cameras. The X300 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Some reports suggest it may also feature a ZEISS 200MP APO telephoto shooter. The standard X300 is rumored to sport a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB primary rear sensor. Both phones feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 selfie camera. The handsets also pack V3+ image processing chips.

  4. Software and Battery: The Vivo X300 series will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The company promises four major Android updates for the Pro variant. The Vivo X300 is expected to house a 6,040mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

  5. Expected Price and Availability in India: While Vivo hasn't officially revealed the India prices, the Vivo X300 is expected to start around Rs 60,000 for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The Vivo X300 Pro is likely to be priced closer to Rs 99,999. The X300 is available in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and Lucky Colour shades. The X300 Pro comes in Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black shades. The India launch is expected in December 2025 or January 2026.
