Parth Samthaan's Cryptic Post Hints at Struggles Following His Departure from CID 2 After Months

Months after his exit from CID 2, actor Parth Samthaan has shared a cryptic message on social media, hinting at a difficult period in his life. The actor, known for his roles in shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, took to Instagram to express his feelings of being "down and low".

In his Instagram story, Samthaan acknowledged his recent inactivity on the platform, stating, "I have been inactive on Instagram since some months now. Yep. A phase when you are really down and low where you don't feel like doing anything". However, he reassured his fans that this is not the end of his career, adding, "But this is not the end! Remember the name!".

Samthaan's post comes after his brief stint in CID 2 earlier this year, where he replaced Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman. His casting initially drew mixed reactions from audiences. He later confirmed his exit from the show in May 2025, citing other work commitments. Samthaan clarified that his role in CID 2 was initially intended as a guest appearance for a few episodes but was later extended. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the show, stating, "It's been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it's just for a brief period".

Before CID 2, Samthaan had consciously decided to take a break from television to explore opportunities in OTT platforms and films. He made his Bollywood debut in the movie Ghudchadi, alongside Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. In an earlier interview, he mentioned his desire to move away from his comfort zone and start from scratch in the film industry. "Yes, it was a conscious decision to stay away from TV and switch to OTT platforms and films... You have to leave your comfort zone. You have to start from scratch. But still, I wanted to take that chance," Samthaan said.

The actor's recent cryptic post has sparked concern among his fans, who are eager to know more about the challenges he is facing. While Samthaan has not provided specific details about his "low phase," his message suggests that he is determined to overcome this difficult period and continue his career. His words, "This is not the end! Remember the name!" indicate a strong resolve to bounce back and make a mark in the entertainment industry. Fans and well-wishers are now offering their support and encouragement to the actor during this time.
