Mahindra & Mahindra's Q3 Soars: Profit Climbs 33% to ₹3,931 Crore, Revenue Rises 26% Year-on-Year.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has announced its Q3 results for FY26, showcasing a robust performance driven by growth in the automobile and farm sectors. The company's standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2025 surged by 32.6% year-on-year to ₹3,931.30 crore, compared to ₹2,964.31 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations also saw a significant increase, rising by 26.12% YoY to ₹38,516.8 crore. While this figure is slightly below an estimate of ₹38,926 crore, the company's profit topped street expectations.

The Farm Equipment segment played a crucial role in this growth, with revenue increasing by 24.88% to ₹10,199.69 crore from ₹8,167.34 crore. The segment's EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) also experienced a substantial jump of 39.36% YoY, reaching ₹2,060.78 crore.

M&M has demonstrated strong market performance, achieving a 90 bps increase in SUV revenue share and a 10 bps YoY rise in LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) market share. The tractor business also saw gains, with a 20 bps YoY increase, reaching a 44.1% market share for the fiscal year to date. The company's new launches, including the XEV 9S and the XUV 7XO, have been well-received in the market.

The company's consolidated net profit rose 47 percent year-on-year to Rs 4675 crore, and revenue from operations increased 26 percent to Rs 52100 crore.

Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO (Auto and Farm Sector) at M&M, noted the strong performance of both the Auto and Farm businesses in Q3'FY26.

Investors have seen significant returns on M&M shares over the years. The share price has delivered multibagger returns of 310% in five years and 566% in ten years. In the past six months, the stock has rallied 18%, and it has delivered 175% returns in the last three years.

Prior to the Q3 results announcement, M&M share price was trading over 2% higher, reflecting positive market sentiment. These figures demonstrate the company's consistent growth and strong financial performance over the long term.
