Rashmika Mandanna has recently shared a heartfelt appreciation post for her "Kuberaa" co-star, Dhanush, calling him a "gem of a person". This comes shortly after the release of their film, "Kuberaa," on June 20, 2025.

In her Instagram post, Rashmika shared a selfie with Dhanush, mentioning that it was surprisingly the only photo she managed to take with him during the entire shoot. She then went on to express her admiration for Dhanush's work ethic, humility, and the respect he showed to everyone on set.

Rashmika praised Dhanush for his dedication and hard work, noting how he consistently puts in incredible effort every day. She also lauded his unforgettable performance in "Kuberaa," as well as in all his other projects. In "Kuberaa," Dhanush plays Deva, a beggar who gets caught up in a big scam. Rashmika portrays Sameera, who supports Deva as he tries to expose the truth. Critics have already praised Dhanush's acting in the movie.

Adding a personal touch to her message, Rashmika revealed that Dhanush had generously shared many laddoos with her on set. She also fondly remembered how he would help her with her Tamil lines and compliment her performances in scenes, saying "that was nice."

Dhanush responded to Rashmika's post with gratitude, thanking her for her kind words and wishing her continued success and positivity.

"Kuberaa," directed by Sekhar Kammula, has generated considerable buzz. The film features Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh in key roles. "Kuberaa" is a crime drama about a beggar named Deva (Dhanush) whose life changes when he meets Deepak (Nagarjuna), a former CBI officer, Neeraj (Jim Sarbh), a corrupt CEO, and Sameera (Rashmika). The film was shot in both Telugu and Tamil.

The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with Niketh Bommireddy handling cinematography and Karthika Srinivas taking on editing duties. The production design is by Thota Tharani.

"Kuberaa" has been well-received, with praise for its unique visual storytelling and the performances of its cast. The movie made ₹87 crore worldwide in its first three days.

The digital streaming rights for "Kuberaa" have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The film is expected to be available on the OTT platform in July 2025, approximately a month after its theatrical release.
