Triptii Dimri, the Bollywood actress known for her roles in "Animal" and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3," is currently in Spain filming the final schedule for her upcoming action thriller, "Romeo". The film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, also stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. The team is set to wrap up the shooting by August 25, 2025.
"Romeo" has been filming since early 2025 and is now in its final stages. The last schedule includes shooting a high-octane action sequence in Malaga, utilizing Spain's rugged terrain, and filming a vibrant dance number featuring Dimri and Kapoor. Sources indicate that the dance number will feature a large ensemble. With principal photography wrapping up, Bhardwaj will move into post-production, with initial VFX and editing already underway in Mumbai. The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
"Romeo" marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, who have previously delivered critically acclaimed films such as "Kaminey," "Haider," and "Rangoon". The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda, Vikrant Massey, Farida Jalal, and Avinash Tiwary.
Adding to the buzz surrounding Triptii Dimri's trip to Spain, the actress is reportedly accompanied by Sam Merchant, sparking rumors of a romantic getaway. While neither Dimri nor Merchant have publicly confirmed their relationship, their social media activity has fueled speculation among fans. Their Instagram Stories suggest that Merchant joined Dimri in Spain, turning the professional trip into a brief vacation.
This isn't the first time Dimri and Merchant have been linked. Fans have previously noticed them vacationing at the same locations, including a trip to Finland where they reportedly watched the Northern Lights together. Dimri had also shared a birthday wish for Merchant on January 30, including a photo collage featuring them together.
