Apoorva Mukhija, known as "The Rebel Kid," a 22-year-old social media influencer known for her comedy videos, is currently facing a swirl of controversy involving cheating allegations from her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya, and speculation surrounding a potential appearance on Ashneer Grover's new show, "Rise and Fall".

The drama began when Dahiya released a song titled "Cute Little Red Flags," which quickly went viral on Instagram, garnering over 17 million views. While the song doesn't directly name Mukhija, the lyrics allude to cheating and dishonesty, leading many to believe the accusations are aimed at her. Dahiya has also accused Mukhija of fabricating lies and pushing false narratives to create content and assassinate his character online. He claims that when he tried to address the backlash with her and her agency, he was dismissed as a "nobody".

Mukhija has responded to the allegations indirectly through cryptic posts and comments on social media, stating that "the truth always comes out". She shared Instagram stories suggesting she has moved on and finds the situation amusing. Despite the indirect responses, she has not issued a direct statement addressing the allegations.

The online feud has also seemingly affected Mukhija's friendships, with influencer Sufi Motiwala reportedly distancing himself from her. Mukhija and Dahiya announced their breakup in January 2025. Since then, both have alluded to the other in their content, with Mukhija previously accusing Dahiya of cheating and abuse without directly naming him. Dahiya now claims Mukhija only called him "ghatiya" publicly for social media engagement. He further alleges that attempts have been made to hack into his social media account.

Amidst this personal controversy, speculation has arisen regarding Mukhija's professional endeavors. Some reports suggest she may be joining Ashneer Grover's new show, "Rise and Fall," which is set to premiere on MX Player on September 6. The show divides contestants into "Rulers" and "Workers," with the latter group striving to reach the top.

Adding to the recent events, Mukhija was also involved in an incident where she was allegedly denied an emergency seat on a flight for a confusing reason. She claimed a staff member told her she couldn't have the seat because "we can't give it to disabled bodies," and when Mukhija argued she was "fully abled," the staff member allegedly said, "you are sick".

Mukhija's career has included working with over 60 brands, including Netflix and Amazon, and she was recently featured on the reality series "The Traitors," judged by Karan Johar.
