Tanya Mittal, a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, is currently making headlines for a resurfaced video clip from 2022 where she confidently proclaims herself to be "more beautiful than Aishwarya Rai". During the talk, she recounted an unusual childhood dream: "I used to dream that I had taken over Ambani's business, Sushmita Sen had handed over her crown to me, and I was more beautiful than Aishwarya Rai". She also mentioned her mother's reaction to these dreams, saying her mother "was sure that something was wrong" with her.

In the Josh Talks interview, Mittal also spoke about her upbringing in a Baniya family and the restrictions placed on girls. She explained, "I am from a Baniya family, and the rules are set for girls in a Baniya family. You can't step out after 6 PM. Don't speak to men on your phone, and don't learn anything except cooking in your life". Mittal stated that these limitations motivated her to "take up the challenge of becoming beautiful and started a new journey".

Mittal has also stated that she is only a 12th pass. Despite not having a college degree, she has represented India on international platforms and won the Miss Asia crown after 12 years. She has expressed confidence in her educational background and has said that she is not ashamed of it.

Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Tanya Mittal had already established herself as an entrepreneur. She started "Handmade Love by Tanya" at the age of 19 with just Rs. 500. The company evolved from selling handbags to becoming a lifestyle brand with sarees and accessories.
