New York Jets Trim Training Camp Roster: Four Players Released, Squad Now Stands at 45.

The Winnipeg Jets have reduced their training camp roster to 45 players, the team announced on September 28, 2025. This marks the second round of cuts for the Jets as they prepare for the 2025-26 NHL season.

The following players have been assigned to the Manitoba Moose, the Jets' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate: * Forwards: Jacob Julien and Fabian Wagner * Goaltender: Isaac Poulter

Defenseman Dylan Anhorn was released from his professional tryout (PTO) with the Jets. He will report to the Manitoba Moose, where he has an American Hockey League contract.

Following these moves, the Jets' training camp roster consists of 26 forwards, 15 defensemen, and 4 goaltenders. The remaining goalies are Eric Comrie, Connor Hellebuyck, Thomas Milic and Dominic DiVincentiis. The defensemen are Dylan DeMelo, Isaak Phillips, Neal Pionk, Luke Schenn, Colin Miller, Ville Heinola, Haydn Fleury, Josh Morrissey, Dylan Samberg, Kale Clague, Elias Salomonsson, Logan Stanley, Ashton Sautner, Dawson Barteaux & Tyrel Bauer. The forwards are Vlad Namestnikov, Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Gustav Nyquist, Samuel Fagemo, Adam Lowry**, Jonathan Toews, Mason Shaw, Parker Ford, Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Morgan Barron, David Gustafsson, Colby Barlow, Brayden Yager, Cole Koepke, Danny Zhilkin, Mark Scheifele, Nino Niederreiter, Tanner Pearson, Walker Duehr, Kieron Walton, Kyle Connor, Phillip Di Giuseppe, Nikita Chibrikov, Cole Perfetti and Brad Lambert. Adam Lowry is currently injured.

The Manitoba Moose began their training camp on September 28, 2025, with off-ice activities and will begin on-ice sessions on September 29, 2025.

The Jets are scheduled to play their fifth of six preseason games on Tuesday evening in Minnesota against the Wild.

Earlier in the training camp, the Jets made their first round of cuts on September 22, 2025, reducing the roster by six players. Edison Engle, Jacob Cloutier, Kevin He and Owen Martin were sent back to their respective junior teams. Goaltender Alex Worthington was released from his amateur tryout and defenceman Ethan Frisch was released from his professional tryout.
