The Hurun India Rich List 2025 also indicates a dynamic shift in the rankings of India's wealthiest individuals. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, has reclaimed the top spot with a wealth of ₹9.55 lakh crore, surpassing Gautam Adani, who now holds the second position with ₹8.15 lakh crore.
Roshni Nadar Malhotra, at 44 years old, is not only the richest woman in India but also the youngest among the top 10 richest individuals. Self-made individuals constitute 66% of the total list, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit, while 74% of newcomers built their wealth independently.

Mumbai remains the wealth capital of India, with 451 billionaires residing in the city, followed by New Delhi with 223 and Bengaluru with 116. The industries with the highest representation on the list include pharmaceuticals, industrial products, and chemicals & petrochemicals.
