Nicole Kidman has made her first public appearance with her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, since news of her split from Keith Urban broke. The actress and her daughters attended the Chanel Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Kidman, 58, recently filed for divorce from Urban, 57, on September 30, 2025, after nearly 20 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences". The divorce filing, submitted to the Davidson County Circuit Court in Nashville, Tennessee, included a signed marital dissolution agreement and a parenting plan. Kidman is seeking to be named the primary residential parent of their two daughters.
At the Chanel show, Kidman debuted a new hairstyle, sporting wispy, face-framing bangs. She wore an oversized white button-down shirt with loose-fitting jeans, while her daughters also embraced casual styles. Sunday, 17, wore a red vest with loose-fitting jeans, and Faith, 14, wore a black mini dress with a denim jacket. Kidman was recently named a brand ambassador for Chanel.
The appearance of Kidman and her daughters together follows news of their separation, which sources say was "inevitable". Kidman and Urban have reportedly been living apart since the beginning of the summer. A source told People that Kidman's sister, Antonia, and the entire Kidman family have been supporting her. Another source mentioned that Urban moving out and "setting up his own place" was a turning point, with his and Kidman's lives heading in "different directions". Despite the separation, sources say Kidman had been fighting to save the marriage.
According to court documents, Kidman will have her daughters for 306 days of the year, while Urban will have them for 59 days. Both parents are required to attend a parent education class within 60 days.
Kidman and Urban were last seen in public together in June at the FIFA Club World Cup match in Nashville. They married in June 2006 in Australia, after meeting in 2005 at an event in Los Angeles honoring Australians. This was Urban's first marriage and Kidman's second, as she was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, with whom she has two older children.
Prior to the Chanel show, Kidman attended the amfAR Dallas Gala, where she presented her "Lioness" collaborator, Taylor Sheridan, with an award. She also was spotted hiking in Nashville with her sister, Antonia Kidman. Sunday Rose also walked a Paris Fashion Week runway for Dior.
Representatives for Kidman and Urban have not commented publicly on the divorce.
