Abhinav Kashyap, the director of the 2010 blockbuster "Dabangg," has recently made serious allegations against Salman Khan regarding his behavior on set and his influence on the film's final cut. In a recent interview, Kashyap claimed that Khan refused to perform a scene where his character, Chulbul Pandey, was required to touch the feet of veteran actor Om Puri.

Kashyap stated that Salman Khan "arrogantly refused" to do the scene, leading to multiple script rewrites to accommodate his demands. "Om Puri sahab had 5-6 scenes in the film and they were good scenes. He had agreed to do the film only after hearing those scenes. But Salman refused to do a scene with Om Puri in which his character had to touch Om Puri's feet. He said very arrogantly, 'I won't touch his feet.' He made me rewrite that scene 5-6 times till it was to his satisfaction," Kashyap said.

According to Kashyap, this refusal angered Om Puri, who confronted Khan, questioning why he was "eating up everybody's role" despite his success. Kashyap alleges that Salman Khan's interference extended beyond this specific scene, with the actor influencing the editing process to reduce the screen time of other actors, including Om Puri, Mahie Gill, and Arbaaz Khan. He believes that this negatively impacted Gill's career.

Kashyap further criticized Khan's overall attitude towards acting, describing him as "ill-mannered" and someone who treats his work as a favor rather than a commitment. He stated, "Salman is never involved. He is not even interested in acting," and that Khan is more focused on his celebrity status than his craft.

Abhinav Kashyap also brought up his brother Anurag Kashyap's past experiences with Salman Khan. He revealed that Anurag had cautioned him about collaborating with Salman, suggesting that he would be easily bullied. Anurag Kashyap was initially involved with "Tere Naam" (2003) but left the project due to conflicts.
