Ranveer Singh has lauded the upcoming collaboration between director Atlee, Allu Arjun, and Deepika Padukone for their film tentatively titled AA22 x A6, calling it "something never seen before in Indian cinema". The film, produced by Sun Pictures and announced on Allu Arjun's 43rd birthday in April, is generating considerable buzz due to its ambitious scope and the talent involved.

AA22 x A6 marks Allu Arjun's return to the big screen after the highly successful Pushpa 2: The Rule. Deepika Padukone will also be featured in a lead role, reportedly in an action-packed avatar. The film is touted as a pan-Indian sci-fi action entertainer, with filming expected to have begun in the latter half of 2025.

Atlee has expressed his vision for AA22 x A6 to be an "addictive" cinematic experience, aiming to create something new and visually unique for the audience. He emphasized that the team is exploring innovative ideas to deliver a fresh experience. "Please wait for a few months; we are working to show you something special," Atlee stated in an interview, promising audiences something extraordinary.

Reportedly, Allu Arjun will be portraying multiple roles in AA22 x A6, potentially a quadruple role encompassing an entire generational lineage, including a grandfather, father, and two sons. According to sources, Allu Arjun insisted on playing all four roles, even conducting look tests himself.

While an official release date is yet to be announced, reports suggest the makers are targeting an August 2027 release. The film is expected to be Allu Arjun's highest-budget film.
