Tanya Mittal, the spiritual influencer and third runner-up of Bigg Boss 19, has officially begun her acting career, marked by a recent appearance in a viral beauty advertisement. This comes shortly after securing an acting project with Ekta Kapoor.

Mittal's journey from reality TV to acting has been swift. In the advertisement, she is seen promoting Korean beauty treatments while wearing a pink saree. Her performance has garnered positive feedback regarding her dialogue delivery, though some playfully critiqued her for overacting.

Before her acting debut, Mittal gained attention on Bigg Boss 19 for her strong personality and fondness for sarees, reportedly bringing 800 sarees into the house. She also became known for her extravagant claims, such as traveling to Dubai solely to enjoy baklava and being protected by 150 bodyguards, which led some viewers to perceive her as "fake". Mittal has defended her lifestyle, suggesting that people are more accepting of men displaying such extravagance than women who are not already established celebrities or figures in politics.

Stylist Riddhima Sharma has publicly accused Mittal of not clearing payments, failing to return outfits, and displaying disrespect towards designers and stylists. Sharma shared her grievances on Instagram, stating that despite consistently supporting Mittal, she and her team were treated poorly. As of now, Mittal and her team have not released any statement addressing these allegations.

Despite the controversy, Mittal is preparing for her TV debut in Ekta Kapoor's new show, a role she was offered while still participating in Bigg Boss. Mittal sees her time on Bigg Boss as an entry point into the entertainment industry, a learning experience that has paved the way for her acting career.
