Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya, who officially confirmed their relationship in July 2025, are now sharing details about how their romance blossomed. The couple, who went public after weeks of speculation fueled by vacation photos and Veer's presence at Tara's fashion shows, recently opened up about their first date and early relationship milestones.
In a recent interview with Travel + Leisure India, Tara and Veer reminisced about the beginning of their relationship. Veer fondly recalled their first date, stating, "I love that we have embraced our affection and love since our first date and have never shied away from expressing how we feel wherever we are". When asked about a specific moment that solidified their feelings, Veer pointed to a memorable musical evening. "It was probably our first date night, where I played the piano, and she sang until the sun came out," he shared. Tara added, "Sticking by each other through thick and thin as if we have known each other our whole lives". In a separate interview, Tara mentioned that they "fell in love from day one" and aren't afraid to show their affection publicly.
The couple also revealed the destination of their first trip together: the Isle of Capri. Tara explained the significance of the location, saying, "Growing up, my mum had always told me the Isle of Capri was where you take your best friend and beloved…". Veer added that the location held a special meaning for him even before they met Tara. "Even before we knew each other, it was the one place we wanted to visit when we knew we had found our special one".
Tara, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday with Veer in the Maldives, has been spotted with Veer at numerous events. A photo of Veer kissing her forehead during her birthday celebration went viral. Veer also posted a birthday message on Instagram, captioning it: “Happy Birthday, my whole heart".
Prior to dating Veer, Tara was in a long-term relationship with Aadar Jain, which ended in 2023. Veer was previously linked to Sara Ali Khan and Manushi Chillar, though he never confirmed those relationships.
Tara was last seen in the thriller film Apurva, while Veer recently made his debut in Sky Force alongside Akshay Kumar.
