Renowned singer Kailash Kher has addressed the controversy surrounding his recent concert in Gwalior, where he stopped performing midway due to an unruly crowd. The incident occurred during an event organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Kher, visibly frustrated, halted the performance and admonished the crowd for their "animal-like behavior". He stated that he would stop the show if anyone came close to the instruments.

In a recent statement, Kher clarified his actions, stating, "I didn’t abandon the stage." He explained that his primary concern was the safety of his team and the audience. "The situation became too risky, and I had to make a tough call to ensure everyone's well-being," Kher added. He emphasized that the lack of adequate security made it impossible to continue the performance safely.

Reports indicate that the venue lacked sufficient security personnel to manage the large crowd, especially considering that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had addressed a gathering at the same location earlier that day with strict security measures in place.
