After the resounding success of "Saiyaara," director Mohit Suri is reportedly collaborating once again with Yash Raj Films (YRF) for another romantic film. The film "Saiyaara," which starred newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, became a major romantic blockbuster and resonated deeply with audiences.

Riding high on the success of "Saiyaara," Suri and YRF are set to reunite for another love story, solidifying a partnership that has significantly impacted the romance genre's commercial viability. According to a report, Suri was highly sought after by various producers across the industry, who were willing to offer substantial paychecks. However, Suri has chosen to continue his creative alliance with YRF, capitalizing on the momentum generated by "Saiyaara".

The upcoming project, like "Saiyaara," will be produced by Akshaye Widhani and presented by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner, ensuring the high production value and grand scale that the studio is known for. The central storyline has already been finalized, and Suri and his team of writers are currently developing it into a complete screenplay.

Reportedly, the new film will explore a completely new world within the romance genre and, similar to "Saiyaara," will be a musical saga. Suri and Widhani aim to revitalize love stories and spark conversations among audiences, with Aditya Chopra also keen on further exploring this genre.

Casting for the film is expected to begin in early 2026, with filming scheduled to commence by mid-2026.

The film's narrative revolves around Vaani, an aspiring journalist, and Krish Kapoor, a musician with dreams of making it big in the music industry.
