Salman Khan Jokes About SRK's "Three Khans" Affordability Comment, Suggesting He Say It In Saudi Arabia.

The recent Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, witnessed a rare and captivating moment for Bollywood enthusiasts as the three iconic Khans – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan – shared the same stage. The event sparked excitement and nostalgia among fans, with numerous photos and videos of the trio going viral on social media.

During a discussion at the event, Salman Khan playfully ribbed Shah Rukh Khan about a previous statement regarding the financial implications of casting all three of them in a single movie. Salman Khan reflected on their backgrounds, noting, "Aamir Khan hails from a cinematic lineage, and so do I. However, this gentleman, Shah Rukh Khan, does not". Shah Rukh Khan interjected, "May I interrupt. Sorry! I also come from a film family. Salman's family is my family. Aamir's family is my family". Aamir Khan then quipped, "Now you understand why Shah Rukh Khan is a superstar".

The playful banter took an interesting turn when the topic of the three Khans working together in a film arose. Salman Khan alluded to a statement Shah Rukh Khan had previously made about the exorbitant costs involved. According to one source, Shah Rukh Khan had joked that producers would have to sell their "chaddi baniyan" (underwear) to afford them.

In response to this, Salman Khan teasingly urged Shah Rukh Khan to repeat his famous line, saying, "That nobody can afford the three of us in a film together. Say it!". However, Shah Rukh Khan playfully declined, responding, "I don't want to say it in Saudi because anybody will get up and...".

This exchange references back to statements made years prior. In 2015, Salman Khan himself had stated that no producer could afford to cast all three Khans in a movie. He said, "We would love to do a film together. Today they (producers) can't afford to make a film with one Khan. But no one can afford to do a film taking three of us". At the time, he was promoting his film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and expressed gratitude to Shah Rukh and Aamir for promoting the film's first poster on their social media accounts.

The reunion of the three Khans at the Joy Forum 2025 has reignited discussions about the possibility of them sharing screen space in the future. When asked about a potential collaboration, Shah Rukh Khan responded, "I have to say, if three of us are in a project together, it's a dream itself".

Adding to the buzz, YouTube star MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) captured a photo with the three Khans at the event and posted it on his Instagram, asking, "Hey India, should we all collaborate on something?". This sparked further speculation about a potential collaboration between the Khans and the YouTube sensation.

While the possibility of a film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan remains a topic of speculation, their recent appearance together has undoubtedly delighted fans and fueled hopes for a future collaboration.

Notably, all three Khans made cameo appearances in Aryan Khan's debut web series, "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," although they did not share screen time directly.
