Raj Kundra's Diwali Celebration: Sharing Love and Light with Shilpa Shetty, His Fiery Sunshine

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, shared glimpses of their Diwali celebrations, offering fans a peek into their festive traditions. The couple's social media posts radiated warmth and joy as they celebrated the festival of lights with their children, Viaan and Sameesha.

Raj Kundra posted a series of festive photos on Instagram, featuring himself and Shilpa dressed in vibrant traditional attire. Shilpa looked radiant in a striking red saree, while Raj complemented her in a bright yellow kurta. Raj captioned the post, "When tradition meets trend… sparks fly! She's the fire, I'm the sunshine. @theshilpashetty Wishing you all a stylish & sparkling Diwali! #CoupleGoals #FestiveVibes #Diwali2025". Shilpa reshared the image on her Instagram stories, adding a playful note, "You are the haldi to my kumkum".

Earlier, Shilpa shared a family photo taken in front of their home temple, extending heartfelt Diwali wishes to her followers. The picture showed Shilpa, Raj, and their children seated before beautifully decorated idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. The family was dressed in coordinated red and white festival attire.

Shilpa also posted a reel featuring herself and her younger sister, Shamita Shetty, creating rangoli designs together. The video, captioned "Rangoli Time," showcased the sisters working on a lotus-shaped rangoli made of bright pink and green hues. Shilpa was seen in a beautiful white kurta with leaf motifs. Shamita designed her rangoli freehand, while Shilpa used stencils. The sisters laughed and chatted while creating the rangolis and wished their fans a "Happy Diwali".

Diwali, also known as Deepawali, is a major festival in India, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. The festival is celebrated by cleaning and decorating homes, lighting oil lamps and lights, worshipping Goddess Lakshmi, exchanging sweets and gifts, and bursting firecrackers. This year, Diwali celebrations took place on the night between October 20 and 21.

Shilpa Shetty is currently judging the dance reality show "India's Best Dancer" and remains busy with her professional commitments. She will also be seen in the pan-India action-drama, "KD - The Devil," alongside Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt. Shamita Shetty's last major acting project was the 2023 film "The Tenant".

Amidst the festive cheer, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are also facing legal challenges related to an alleged Rs 60-crore investment fraud. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) booked Raj and Shilpa for allegedly cheating businessman Deepak Kothari in a loan-cum-investment deal involving their now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. Kothari claimed he invested over ₹60 crore between 2015 and 2023, which he alleges was misused for personal gains. The couple's lawyer has denied the allegations, stating that the issue is civil in nature and has already been addressed by the NCLT Mumbai. A court hearing to address the suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against them is scheduled for November 17.
