Tragic Accident in Gujarat: Speeding BMW Kills Engineering Student, Driver Apprehended by Police.

In Rajkot, Gujarat, a tragic road accident occurred early Monday morning, claiming the life of a 20-year-old engineering student. Abhishek Nathani, a student at an engineering college, was killed when a speeding BMW struck his two-wheeler on Kalavad Road around 2:00 AM.

According to police reports, the impact of the collision dragged the two-wheeler nearly 200 feet. The force of the crash resulted in the immediate death of Nathani, and the front of the BMW was severely damaged. Sub-inspector PJ Parmar stated that the two-wheeler was attempting to cross the road when the collision occurred.

The driver of the BMW, identified as 26-year-old Atman Patel and son of a local businessman, escaped the incident without injuries and has been arrested by the police. The Rajkot (taluka) police are currently investigating the incident. CCTV footage of the accident has been obtained and is being used in the ongoing probe.
