The first look of Aamir Khan in Rajinikanth's upcoming film, 'Coolie', has been revealed, generating immense excitement among fans. The multi-starrer action thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is slated for release on August 14, 2025, and features Rajinikanth in the lead role, along with a stellar cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan.

Aamir Khan's confirmed cameo in 'Coolie' has been a hot topic since rumors first surfaced in August 2024. He plays the character Dahaa in the movie. The recently released first-look poster showcases Aamir in a rugged and intense avatar, sporting a simple vest and smoking a pipe, hinting at his powerful presence in the film.

According to reports, Aamir Khan will appear in the final 15 minutes of 'Coolie', participating in a high-octane face-off with Rajinikanth. This action-packed sequence is expected to be one of the film's major highlights. Sources suggest that Aamir's role goes beyond a mere cameo, with the actor dedicating a 10-day shoot schedule to the film. The climax was reportedly shot in Rajasthan.

Aamir Khan himself has expressed his admiration for Rajinikanth, stating that he agreed to be part of 'Coolie' without even reading the script. He said he is a huge fan of Rajinikanth and has immense love and respect for him.

Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Coolie' is produced by Sun Pictures and is not part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

In addition to his cameo in 'Coolie', Aamir Khan is also set to collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj for a full-fledged superhero action film, scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2026.
