Realme is gearing up to launch its latest number series in India, with the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro models set to debut on July 24 at 7 PM IST. The company has been teasing the Realme 15 series, highlighting the Realme 15 Pro as an "AI Party Phone". This suggests a focus on advanced camera capabilities and features optimized for social experiences.
The launch of the Realme 15 series marks another update to the company's number series, arriving approximately five months after the Realme 14 lineup. This time around, Realme appears to be skipping the Pro+ variant and concentrating on the standard and Pro models.
A dedicated microsite has already been launched on Flipkart, revealing the design and teasing key features of the upcoming smartphones. The Realme 15 series is being presented as a significant upgrade over its predecessors, promising improvements such as a faster chip, bolder design, brighter display, slimmer body, clearer camera, bigger battery life, and smarter AI.
In terms of design, the Realme 15 and 15 Pro will come in Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple color options. A Silk Pink color has also been listed, but it is unconfirmed whether this will be for the Pro or standard model. The rear panel has been redesigned with a glass-like camera module housing three cameras arranged in two circular units, along with a smaller third ring. The power button and volume rocker are located on the right side of the frame. The front of the devices appears slightly curved, giving the impression of a larger display and improved ergonomics.
One of the highlighted features of the Realme 15 series is the introduction of a new AI-powered tool called AI Edit Genie. This voice-led photo editing assistant allows users to modify images based on spoken prompts. For example, users can ask the AI to transform a regular photo into a party scene by adding balloons or changing outfits. Realme is touting the Pro model as its most advanced "AI party phone" yet, combining camera intelligence, party-optimized features, and performance for social experiences. The Realme 15 series will also feature AI enhancements that adjust shutter speed, contrast, and saturation in real-time, ensuring vibrant, blur-free photos.
While detailed specifications are still under wraps, leaks suggest that the Realme 15 Pro 5G could feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera. It is also expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and may come in configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The standard Realme 15 5G is expected to offer similar memory options and might be priced between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000. The Realme 15 Pro is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000, similar to its predecessor.
The Realme 15 Pro may be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and feature a 6,000mAh battery. It is also expected to come with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The Realme 15 Pro may come in four configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.
With the launch just around the corner, more details about the Realme 15 series are expected to surface soon.
