Baseer Ali, known as the "king of reality shows," is entering the Bigg Boss 19 house, adding another chapter to his already vibrant career. The new season of Bigg Boss is set to premiere on August 24, 2025, streaming first on JioCinema/Hotstar at 9 pm and later airing on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
Ali, who hails from Hyderabad, first garnered attention after winning Splitsvilla 10 with Naina Singh. He further solidified his presence in the reality TV sphere with appearances on Roadies Rising and Ace of Space, where he was the runner-up in both shows. Most recently, Ali made his debut in fiction television with a role in the popular TV show, Kundali Bhagya.
Bigg Boss 19 is expected to feature approximately 17 to 18 contestants, including actors, directors, and social media influencers. Among the names creating buzz online are Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, and Nagma Mirajkar. This season's theme is rumored to be politics, which promises heightened drama, rivalries, and unexpected twists.
Other confirmed contestants include Abhishek Bajaj, known for his roles in TV shows like Jubilee Talkies, Silsila Pyaar Ka, and Bitti Business Wali.
Social media influencer Awez Darbar, son of music composer Ismail Darbar, is also expected to join Bigg Boss 19. Darbar gained fame through TikTok and has a significant online presence with 30.4 million Instagram followers and over 12 million YouTube subscribers. He is also Gauahar Khan’s brother-in-law, the winner of Bigg Boss 7.
Kunickaa Sadanand, a well-known face from the 90s, is also set to enter the Bigg Boss house. She is known for her roles in films like Beta, Gumraah, and Khiladi, as well as TV shows like Swabhimaan and Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara.
With a mix of established television actors, social media stars, and personalities known for their strong opinions, Bigg Boss 19 promises to deliver another season filled with entertainment.
