The comedy thriller Housefull 5, which hit theaters on June 6, 2025, is gearing up for its digital debut. Fans who enjoyed the film's humor, star-studded cast, and chaotic storyline set on a luxurious cruise ship can soon watch it from the comfort of their homes.

While an official release date is yet to be announced, Housefull 5 is expected to stream on Amazon Prime Video. According to multiple reports, Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital rights to the film. Considering the typical two-month window between a Bollywood movie's theatrical release and its arrival on OTT platforms, Housefull 5 is likely to be available for streaming in late July or early August 2025. Some reports suggest a possible release date of August 1st.

Housefull 5 features an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 revolves around a billionaire's 100th birthday celebration on a cruise ship. The plot takes a turn when the billionaire dies, leaving his inheritance to his "Jolly". The confusion arises when three individuals – Julius (Akshay Kumar), Jalbhushan (Abhishek Bachchan), and Jalabuddin (Riteish Deshmukh) – claim to be the rightful heir, leading to a series of comical events.

The film was released in cinemas with two alternate endings, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. Housefull 5 has made a significant impact at the box office, becoming Akshay Kumar's ninth highest-grossing film by surpassing Rowdy Rathore's lifetime collection. In its theatrical run, Housefull 5 has crossed ₹150 crore mark at the box office in India and topped a gross collection of ₹200 crores at the worldwide box office. The film opened strong, collecting ₹127.25 crore in Week 1. The total India net stands at ₹183.3 crore, with ₹218.33 crore India gross and ₹70.25 crore from overseas. The worldwide box-office collection is ₹288.58 crore.
