120 Bahadur is a military action film set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War. The film pays tribute to Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a Param Vir Chakra recipient, and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who displayed extraordinary courage during the Battle of Rezang La. This battle saw 120 Indian soldiers valiantly stand against a much larger Chinese force.

Farhan Akhtar will be seen in the lead role as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. According to sources, Akhtar considers biopics a special genre, with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag being a landmark film in his career. He has undergone intense preparation to portray Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar.
