The 134th edition of the Durand Cup, Asia's oldest football tournament, is set to kick off on July 23, 2025, and will run until August 23. The tournament will be held across six venues in five cities: Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Kokrajhar, Shillong, and Imphal.

The Durand Cup 2025 will feature 24 teams from various leagues, including the Indian Super League (ISL), I-League, and the Armed Forces. These teams are divided into six groups of four, and they will compete in a single round-robin format within their respective groups. The six group winners and the two best second-placed teams will advance to the quarter-finals.

Key Fixtures
The opening match will feature East Bengal FC against South United FC on July 23 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. Defending champions NorthEast United FC will begin their title defense on August 2 against Foreign Services Team in Shillong. The Kolkata Derby between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mohammedan SC is scheduled for July 31 at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan.
