Indian students planning to pursue education overseas can now significantly reduce their financial burden thanks to a new student forex card offering substantial savings and benefits. BookMyForex, a subsidiary of MakeMyTrip Group, has launched the "Double Crazy Sale – Student Edition," providing cashback offers and cost-saving features for students heading abroad.

This limited-time offer provides more than Rs 20,000 in cashback on student forex cards and tuition fee transfers, along with referral bonuses. The sale is valid until September 15, 2025, and can be availed through the BookMyForex App and website. Students can use the promo code CRAZYSALE for forex card orders and REMITSPL for money transfers to unlock the benefits.

One of the key highlights is the newly launched Global Forex Card, designed specifically for students. It eliminates common overseas charges with zero markup fees and no cross-currency conversion costs. Furthermore, the card offers free ATM withdrawals, allowing students to access their funds without incurring additional charges. Payments at university POS terminals are also completely free.

Students can earn up to Rs 7,500 cashback on the Student Forex Card. To avail this offer, new users need to register with MakeMyTrip or GoIbibo, then create an order to buy a student forex card on BookMyForex using the same phone and email ID. Applying the promo code CRAZYSALE during the order placement will unlock the cashback.

In addition to the forex card benefits, students can also save on their overseas fee transfers. BookMyForex offers up to Rs 15,000 cashback on fee transfers, making university payments more affordable. The online transfers are processed the same day through trusted partner banks, with zero transfer fees and the lowest exchange rates guaranteed. To avail the cashback, students need to create an international money transfer order on the BookMyForex website or app, select "transfer funds to an educational institute" as the purpose of remittance, and apply the promo code REMITSPL when placing the order.

BookMyForex also offers a referral program where students can earn up to Rs 500 for every successful referral, while their friends enjoy a discount on their first transaction.

BookMyForex provides a Lowest Rate Guarantee, ensuring students get the best deal on forex. If a student finds a better rate elsewhere, the platform will refund double the difference. To avail of this guarantee, customers can raise a claim request via email to bestrateguarantee@bookmyforex.com if they find a lower price for the same product on another authorized money changer's website or app after purchasing the Forex Product.

Gagan Malhotra, Chief Operating Officer of BookMyForex, stated that the "Double Crazy Sale - Student Edition" aims to make overseas education payments simpler, more transparent, and far more affordable. He added that the company aims to double its student user base in the coming months with these new products and the Student Edition sale.

With features like zero markup fees, free ATM withdrawals, cashback on fee transfers, and a lowest rate guarantee, this new student forex card and associated offers provide significant financial relief and convenience for Indian students pursuing education abroad.
