Juhi Parmar is making a return to television to host ZEE TV's new non-fiction show, "Kahaani Har Ghar Ki". This marks her comeback to television after a five-year hiatus. The show aims to provide a platform for Indian women to share their personal stories in a safe and supportive environment.
"Kahaani Har Ghar Ki" offers a judgment-free space for open and honest conversations, highlighting the emotional realities of numerous women. Each episode will feature a woman's narrative, addressing subjects like emotional neglect, marital struggles, societal conditioning, and professional sacrifices. Mental health experts, psychologists, and occasional celebrity guests will provide insights and guidance.
Juhi Parmar, known for her emotional depth and relatable presence, will not only host but also act as a listener, guide, and friend, connecting with people as "Aapki Juhi". She aims to lend her voice and heart to each story, empowering women to find courage in vulnerability and strength in shared truth.
Parmar expressed her excitement about returning to ZEE TV and reconnecting with the audience. She emphasized that this show is more than just a project for her, as she has always been passionate about uplifting women. While she has been doing so through social media, "Kahaani Har Ghar Ki" provides an opportunity to connect on a more personal level. She has been participating in workshops to help her connect with the heart of the show, focusing on being open, empathetic, and truly present.
ZEE TV's "Kahaani Har Ghar Ki" is strategically timed before the premiere of Star Plus' revival of "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi". The title "Kahaani Har Ghar Ki" is similar to "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii," a popular series from the early 2000s. However, the show does not share narrative parallels with the Star Plus offering.
The show is produced by Zee Studios and aims to create a space for real-life conversations on topics often unspoken within households. It marks a shift towards a more introspective and emotionally grounded format under ZEE TV's refreshed identity, Aapka Apna ZEE.
Besides "Kahaani Har Ghar Ki", ZEE TV is launching its forthcoming drama series 'Kahanhi Har Ghar Ki'.
Harshita Kashyap is also making a comeback with "Jhalee Ki Kahani" after a break to focus on her health. She will portray a negative role in the show, which is set against a Punjabi cultural backdrop.
