Jyotika has expressed her admiration for Mohit Suri's latest directorial venture, Saiyaara, adding to the chorus of praise the film has been receiving from various corners of the Indian film industry. The actress took to her Instagram to share her thoughts on the movie, lauding its emotional depth and soulful storytelling.

In her Instagram post, Jyotika highlighted Saiyaara's purity in an era dominated by action-packed films, violence, and item numbers. She wrote, "In the era of action-packed films, blood and gore, and item songs... here comes a film with emotion, music, and writing so pure that it takes us into a world of love, emotions, and selflessness". She further acknowledged Sankalp Sadanah, Mohit Suri's assistant director and her brother, for his "soul-stirring story and screenplay". Concluding her praise, she congratulated Mohit Suri, as well as the lead actors Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, and the entire team, stating, "Truly, this film is a Saiyaara of Hindi cinema!".

Saiyaara features debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in leading roles. The film tells a romantic relationship between a musician (Ahaan Panday) and a journalist (Aneet Padda). The movie is loosely based on the 2004 Korean film A Moment to Remember. The film's cast also includes Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, and Sid Makkar.

Since its release, Saiyaara has been performing well at the box office, with many praising the performances of the lead actors. Several celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Babu, Ranveer Singh, and Sukumar, have also lauded the film.

Jyotika's praise for Saiyaara comes amidst speculation about her potential Bollywood comeback. Having settled in Mumbai with her husband, Suriya, she is reportedly seeking opportunities in Hindi cinema. Her recent role in the crime series Dabba Cartel has further fueled these rumors. Jyotika made a comeback to Hindi cinema with Shaitaan and Srikanth. She was recently seen in Kaathal: The Core. She is also working on a film directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for Prime Video.

Saiyaara's success has been attributed to its strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews. The film has broken records, including the highest opening day ticket sales for a debutant film post-2000 and the most tickets sold on Day 1 for a debutant film in 25 years. It has become the 26th biggest hit in Hindi cinema, surpassing films like Dunki and Singham Again. The film has also made its mark in the U.S. market, breaking into the top ten list and earning over $3 million.

The film is directed by Mohit Suri, known for his work in the romance genre. This movie marks a significant milestone in Suri's career, achieving his best opening. Saiyaara is produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) and is presented by Aditya Chopra.
