The highly anticipated second season of Netflix's hit series Wednesday premiered in London, drawing stars to a purple carpet event. Jenna Ortega, who plays the titular character, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who portrays Morticia Addams, brought their full glam to the global premiere of Wednesday Season 2.

Ortega stunned in a snakeskin-printed latex gown from Ashi Studio's Fall 2025 couture collection. The semi-sheer dress featured a high-necked top and a mermaid-cut skirt with frayed, asymmetrical ruffles. She completed the look with bleached eyebrows and a burgundy lip, channeling a dark and mysterious aesthetic. Her middle-parted locks were the longest they had been in years, reaching down to her mid-back, and were tied in a low and loose ponytail with a knotted detail at her shoulders.

Zeta-Jones, who has been promoted to a series regular for Season 2, stunned in a sleek, backless black gown featuring a high neckline and a keyhole cutout.

The Wednesday Season 2 premiere was a star-studded event, with cast members such as Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), and Victor Dorobantu (Thing) in attendance. Newcomers to the cast, including Steve Buscemi (Principal Barry Dort), Billie Piper (Isadora Capri), Joanna Lumley (Grandmama Hester Frump), and Frances O'Connor, also graced the purple carpet. Series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, along with director Tim Burton, were also present.

Wednesday Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on August 6, 2025. The season will consist of eight episodes, with the first four episodes being released on August 6 and the remaining four episodes being released on September 3. The premiere episode is titled "Here We Woe Again" and is directed by Tim Burton.

In the second season, Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy, where she must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries while also facing new foes and woes. She will also be grappling with her developing psychic abilities, particularly after a troubling vision of Enid Sinclair's demise.

Netflix has already confirmed a third season of Wednesday due to the show's immense popularity. The first season garnered over 252 million views in its first 91 days, making it the most-watched English-language series on the platform.
