The recently released film Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, has generated considerable buzz, not only for its action and emotional depth but also for a surprising cameo appearance by actor Nani. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is described as a high-octane, emotional action drama set against a socio-political backdrop. The film explores the journey of a common man challenging an unjust system.

Nani's cameo has been a talking point among viewers, with many expressing their delight on social media. While details surrounding the scene are scarce, sources confirm that Nani appears in a significant role within the movie.

Kingdom marks Vijay Deverakonda's return to the big screen after Family Star and a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD. The film has generated significant anticipation, with over 100,000 tickets reportedly sold within 24 hours of advance bookings opening. This overwhelming response has positioned Kingdom as one of the most discussed releases in recent months.

The movie also stars Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse, with Borse making her debut as the female lead. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, while Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John handled the cinematography, and Naveen Nooli took care of editing.

Adding to the excitement, a poster unveiled before the film's release depicted Deverakonda in contrasting halves. One side showed him with a vermilion tika, and the other in a black kurta, portraying him as a warrior.

Kingdom was officially announced in January 2023 under the working title VD12 and the confirmed title was revealed in February 2025. Filming occurred in various locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka.

The film's release date experienced multiple changes before finally hitting theaters on July 31, 2025. Kingdom is intended as the first installment of a duology.
