Infinix is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the Infinix GT 30 5G+, in India. Teasers and leaks have revealed key specifications and design elements, positioning it as a more accessible version of the GT 30 Pro, with a strong focus on mobile gaming.

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ will sport the Cyber Mecha Design 2.0, similar to the GT 30 Pro. This design includes a strip of customizable LED lighting on the rear panel, though unlike the Pro version, the GT 30 5G+ will feature white-only lighting. The device is confirmed to have GT Shoulder Triggers, enhancing the gaming experience with console-like controls. It also boasts BGMI 90FPS certification from KRAFTON, ensuring smooth gameplay.

Under the hood, the Infinix GT 30 5G+ is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Geekbench listings suggest it will be paired with 8GB of RAM. While not as powerful as the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate found in the GT 30 Pro, the Dimensity 7400 should still offer adequate performance for its price range. The phone is also expected to come with up to 256GB of internal storage.

The display is rumored to be a 1.5K AMOLED panel, promising solid visual quality. While specific details about the display's refresh rate and peak brightness are scarce, it's expected to deliver vivid colors and sharp details.

The launch date is not yet official, but indications point towards an August release via Flipkart. Both Infinix and Flipkart have created dedicated microsites with the tagline "The Game Starts with You".

Other expected features, based on leaks and comparisons to the GT 30 Pro, may include:

  • Operating System: Android 15 with XOS 15
  • Battery: A 5200mAh or 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support
  • Camera: A dual-camera setup, possibly with a 50MP primary sensor and a 32MP front camera
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ appears to be a well-rounded smartphone aimed at budget-conscious mobile gamers. With its gaming-centric features like shoulder triggers and high refresh rate support, coupled with a capable processor and display, it aims to deliver a compelling gaming experience without breaking the bank. The device's design, featuring customizable LED lighting, adds a touch of flair, while the expected inclusion of Android 15 ensures a modern software experience.
