Parineeti Chopra recently shared a humorous anecdote about her husband, Raghav Chadha, and his reaction to the first dessert she made after their wedding. The actress playfully recounted the incident, highlighting Raghav's discerning palate and his appreciation for his mother's culinary skills.

During an episode of "The Great Indian Kapil Show," Raghav revealed that one of the first things Parineeti did after their wedding was reorganize their kitchen. This likely set the stage for Parineeti's foray into the kitchen and her attempt to impress her husband with her dessert-making abilities.

While details of the specific dessert are scarce, Parineeti's story suggests that it was perhaps inspired by Raghav's mother's recipe. According to Parineeti, Raghav, after tasting her creation, praised his own mother's version, implying that Parineeti's attempt, while valiant, didn't quite measure up. She laughingly quoted him as saying, "Nakal mein bhi akal chahiye," which roughly translates to "Even in imitation, you need intelligence."

The wedding of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha was a grand affair, with celebrations spanning multiple days and cities. The festivities included a mehendi ceremony with Indian, Italian, and Asian dishes, a sangeet night featuring street foods and desserts, and a wedding day menu dominated by Rajasthani and Punjabi delicacies. The high tea also included cucumber sandwiches, potato wedges, dark truffle pastry, and more.

The couple's engagement ceremony also had a lavish food menu that included dim sum, Old Delhi-style kebabs, and a variety of desserts. Parineeti's brothers, Sahaj and Shivang Chopra, who are food entrepreneurs, curated the menu for the wedding functions.

Parineeti and Raghav's wedding took place on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur. The celebrations were attended by many celebrities, including Sania Mirza, Manish Malhotra, and Harbhajan Singh.
