Priyanka Chopra Jonas stars as MI6 agent Noelle Bisset in the action-comedy Heads of State, alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. The film, directed by Ilya Naishuller, was released on Prime Video on July 2, 2025. Naishuller has spoken about Chopra's casting and the importance of her role in the film.

Naishuller, known for his action-comedies, including Hardcore Henry and Nobody, said Heads of State has been his most creatively fulfilling project. He noted that he was impressed by Chopra's commitment on set. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Naishuller recounted his first interaction with Chopra, stating that she charmed him within 45 seconds during their Zoom call. He said he found her to be a warm and amazing person, which made her a great partner for the film.

Chopra expressed her enthusiasm for her role, emphasizing that it was intentionally written with agency, rather than as a "diversity check". She said she is proud to be at a point in her career where she has fought to have agency in her characters. She also credited Naishuller for recognizing the significance of her role.

In Heads of State, Chopra's character is surrounded by men but holds her own. She performs high-octane action sequences in the film. The film presents a premise of a buddy comedy set against the backdrop of a fraying NATO alliance. It involves two clashing world leaders, the UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke (Idris Elba) and the newly elected US President Will Derringer (John Cena), who find themselves under threat from a terrorist organization. Chopra, as Noelle Bisset, is the MI6 operative who is tasked to save them.

Naishuller wanted a film where world leaders genuinely care for their people. He wanted to portray leaders who work hard and still give hope. He also said that the world is always in turmoil and politics is never easy, so it is important to have leaders who care and work hard.
